Poor neglected blog

It appears that after only posting a few times within a year, I let my blog lapse again. Whoops. Sorry to anyone who may be reading this.

Also, it seems that Blogger deleted all the blogs I was following...if you follow my blog and would like me to follow yours, please contact me.

Let's see...I should do a Christmas post this year and update things in a more official manner, but here are some highlights from the last two years:

- Ella is in second grade and Mia is in kindergarten. They've both lost at least one tooth. Ella lost her two front teeth and I admit I'm a bit disappointed one is growing back in (All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth...).
- Nora still has no interest in potty training. I may research the 3 day method and try it over Christmas break. I would love to be done with diapers.
- We got two cats on Mother's Day 2012. Originally Martha and Puggles, we soon discovered they're boys. Now they're Frank the Shark (we couldn't agree on one name) and Puggles. They're big and lazy, but I love them (most of the time. Not so much when they eat the garland off my Christmas tree and then vomit).
- Steve now works in IT at a credit union in Jackson, rather than a bank in Tecumseh. It's a great job and it's so good to have him so close to home.
- I had surgery in March to fix a hiatal hernia and my acid reflux issues (hiatal hernia repair and fundoplication are the technical terms). It was laparoscopic and then required 6 weeks with a TON of restrictions (only liquids, no lifting over 10 lbs or really any physical activity whatsoever except walking). But I don't have continuous acid reflux anymore, I was able to discontinue a twice-daily prescription, and I am now physically unable to vomit (at least as of May. No flu/nausea since then).
- Steve and I both turned 30 this year. I don't think we look any older, though I did stop plucking my gray hair.
- My TurboKick class fizzled out quite a while back. I am no longer a Beachbody coach (sales are not my thing). I'm doing a lot of weight lifting these days and intuitive eating rather than dieting. My focus has shifted to improving health rather than getting thinner.
- I'm considering writing a novel. I've started drawing a bit more again and I learned how to use a sewing machine (I made the girls small tote bags. I won't claim to have really learned to sew).
- What else? We have six nieces and one nephew now. There's another baby on the way but we don't know if it's a boy or girl yet.

Anyhow, that's all I can come up with and it's lunch time. Fuel the life! I may have gotten weirder in my blogging hiatus...
